At Canopy Life, our vision is to build up godly entrepreneurs who pioneer creative solutions for Kenya and serve others with their power, resources, and ideas. Whether or not our students attend college, they will have the skills to cultivate an idea to market, start a healthy business, and lead with integrity. We are doing this every day at Canopy Life by building exceptional leaders who follow Christ, think differently, and live on purpose.
For people who have never been to Kenya or visited a typical Kenyan private school, it’s hard to describe just how different Canopy Life is from the rest. We do what we do because if Kenya is going to get a different kind of leader, it NEEDS our different kind of school.
As Canopy pursues our vision to create a different kind of leader, we need a different kind of campus.
Typical Kenyan boarding schools are focused on basic needs and academic performance. Here’s an idea of what these environments may look like:

At Canopy Life, we want our environments to fuel the idea banks of our students so when they leave to start their own businesses, they will have so many ideas to choose from! We also long for our home environments to reflect the place of worth and belonging we have created for them. Here’s ideas of the types of spaces we want to create:

Our goal is to raise $350,000 in 2017. Due to unprecedented generosity, any gift given before December 31, 2017, will be DOUBLED by a generous matching grant. To date, we have raised $69,000—which has been matched for a total of $138,000 towards our overall goal of $350,000.
Let’s build together!
