Great news! We finally have decent internet and can catch you up on the last 2 days!!
Yesterday was fabulous. The team split into 2 groups to attend separate churches and do home visits. There are 5 children from Ngaamba who attend Canopy Life Academy, so those were the homes we visited.
We were treated so well and were fed so much food it hurt a little! The generosity and hospitality of the community and the Canopy parents were amazing.
To add to the sweetness, Cindy’s long term sponsored child, Paul, was able to spend the day with us. He’s such a sweetheart and we loved having him with us!
Today we traveled from Ngaamba to Ruiru, dropped our bags at a new hotel and headed to spend the afternoon at Canopy Life Academy. It was one of those perfectly ordained afternoons. The kids were excited to welcome the visitors, and in no time we were all old friends.
The day ended with a great debrief and the realization that this was the start of a beautiful thing.
