This will be a really short post because we’re all so tired. But it has been an awesome day.

We started with a 2.5 hour drive to Ngaamba and joined a North Point GlobalX team being welcomed to the community. We met all the leadership council, teachers, rejoice team and quite a few students. This was such a big deal to us, knowing it is Saturday during their midterm break – that so many people would come out was great.

Later, our team split off from the big group and went to Itumbule Primary where we met with the 5 Canopy Life students from Ngaamba. They were with the entire 4th grade class of Itumbule who would’ve been their classmates if they had not come to Canopy Life.

We met the kids and practiced English and group dynamics with them. Sarah J. got to meet her sponsored kid Mercy for the first time and Cindy was reunited with her previous student Paul from Daraja 2011.

It was a long day, and we are wiped out but happy. See you tomorrow!

Internet is slow so you can find our pics from today on Christi Baker’s Facebook page until we get connection strong enough to post them here.
