“Hello world. It’s time to get real. Here is my honest, ‘unedited’ thank you. My vulnerable confession of what starting/leading something new feels like. And my authentic, raw call for help. This year you’ve reminded me that you are my friends, not just facebook followers. And I need you. Please take time to watch this to the end. I would not be here without you. You’ve been a huge part of this story already and I need you now. I love you guys more than you could know.”
Words can’t express my gratitude for your overwhelming response to this video. Thank you for proving to me and the world that it’s possible for someone to have real friends on Facebook, not just followers. The hardest part of making this video was wanting to be sure you know that I value your friendship above all, but really need your help (a.k.a. financial gifts) to keep this dream alive. Thank you for the generosity, the encouragement, and the insane number of shares. To date, we’ve raised approximately $12,000 (in just one week!) and the number continues to grow daily.
